Thank you sir. As I was reading that I refreshed myself and realized I remembered hearing that from my father when he first received his CHL.

I can't remember from class, but it is ok to use our CHL as our TDL? For instance, if we get pulled over for a speeding ticket, or if we are asked for ID for any reason is it valid to show only or Texas CHL and not our Texas Drivers License? I don't want to carry around both in my small money clip, but if it isn't ok then I have no choice
