I've never noticed this sign at the hospital where I work, and I've been in and out every entrance there is to the building. I supposed I could have just missed seeing it, though. I guess I will have to take some time Monday to look for it specifically.§ 411.204. NOTICE REQUIRED ON CERTAIN PREMISES

Code, or a nursing home licensed under Chapter 242, Health and
Safety Code, shall prominently display at each entrance to the

the requirements of Subsection (c) other than the requirement that
the sign include on its face the number "51".
c) The sign required under Subsections (a) and (b) must
give notice in both English and Spanish that it is unlawful for a
person licensed under this subchapter to carry a handgun on the
premises. The sign must appear in contrasting colors with block

Re: CHLer arrested in improperly posted hospital
I don't know that it has anything to do with the particular health system. The hospital where I work used to be a part of HCA, then Columbia, then Triad, now Community Health Systems. Several of the doors have old signs predating the 30.06 requirement for hospitals.Commander wrote:I see that Presbyterian Healthcare System is part of this group.
