Exactly. I called the DPS licensing office, and apparently being on an ROTC scholarship counts as active duty. Since I am paid by the Navy on a bi-weekly basis, I just sent in a W-2 form, and they approved it without any problems.

My dad bought me my first carry pistol after I had my CHL, because I was unable to do so! I was only 19 at the time I got it.

I have been carrying for about a year and a half now. I'm 21, and just bought a new Glock. :mrgreen:
