I understand the argument, just as I understand most anti-gunner's arguments... that still doesn't make them or it right. So until criminals carry signs that (honestly)identify them as violent or not, that particular arguments is as helpful as dog poop on your shoe. Unfortunately insurance can't replace me or mine and criminals often shoot the witnesses. Therefore, I bank, shop and frequent places where I can carry, and avoid those where I can't carry. There are exceptions, but they are few.
