Re: How do you convice someone, if you even can?
Oldgringo, I agree with you, and I'm a woman. It is a man's responsibility to protect his family. If a man, husband, father, whatever, will not man up and lets the woman make all the decisions then, IMO, he's worthless. I agree, that marriage is a partnership and there must be mutual understanding, ...

How do you convice someone, if you even can?
Last weekend the 16 year old son of some friends of ours was assaulted in his front yard, after he was dropped off by a friend. This happened at 11:00 pm. They don't normally have problems in their neighborhood, but the police thinks it was a gang from another town. He is ok, but the police still ha...

Re: Tea Party Carry? LGC §215.001
The TEA Party went very well. Perry gave a great speech, and the crowd loved it. We did carry, and had no problems. The police were checking bags and purses at the gate, but I left my purse in the truck, and had my gun tucked into my pants. Since they weren't frisking anybody, we just walked right p...

So, can we carry at LaGrave Field or not. My husband and I are going tonight, and I was hoping there would have been a consensus here.

Re: Funny story since nothing bad happened
I took my daughter and her beau to the range yesterday too; it was pretty busy though, and there were four young women there and only two were shooting. One of them was shooting a little .22 pistol and had no idea how to hold it, how to load it, or how to do anything. It was her first time at the ra...

Re: The cuppards are bare
The Wal-Mart on 820 and Rufe Snow in Fort Worth, had plenty of .9mm and .40, but I bought the last box of 50 in .45. The clerk told me that he's having no problem keeping the .9mm and .40 in stock, it's the .45's that he's having trouble with. BTW, I paid $12.47 for each box of 50 in the .40, and $1...

Re: Open-Carry is a right, but concealed carry is not?
I feel that since we have the right to "keep and bear arms" then we should be able to carry them any way we choose, open carry or concealed, without a license. If you can legally purchase a firearm, then you should be able to legally carry that firearm around with you. That's my answer, sh...

Multiple same topic threads
If I may suggest, instead of closing threads that share the same topic, perhaps you could merge them together into one thread. I'm noticing that threads will get closed that have posted comments to them because there is already a thread posted about that topic. The problem with closing those duplica...

Re: Semi-Auto for wife
Being that I am a woman, I can honestly say that the Smith & Wesson M&P .9c is a very good gun for a woman. The slide is easy to rack, and it has interchangeable grips. It's my carry gun, and I love it. She can also get it in pink.

Re: "NO LOADED WEAPONS INSIDE" sign at range
It just sounds like it's a cold range until you're on the firing lane, I don't think it has anything to do with CHL's. There's a private range I go to, and it is a cold range. They don't allow you bring loaded firearms into the range. You have to wait to load them until you get to the firing lane.

I hope this doesn't affect having guns shows at the Will Rogers anymore.
