Re: DPS Carry?

Just thought I'd post to say how it went at the DPS location where my daughter had to go to get her license renewed. Everything went fine. I carried in there with no problems. There were a few really strange looking people in there, but there weren't any problems. There were no 30.06 signs anywhere, no signs about it being a felony for the unlicensed possession of a firearm or anything. So, it was all good. Thanks to everyone for posting your replies to my question.

Re: DPS Carry?

So, the consensus is if there is not a 30.06 sign then it's ok to carry there. Right?

Re: DPS Carry?

Ok. Now I'm confused. :headscratch We're going to the DPS office in Hurst (thats around Fortworth) off of I-820. It's where you go to get renewals and new licenses. So...?

Re: DPS Carry?

Whew! Ok. Thanks. I wasn't sure if that fell under the courthouse category or not.

DPS Carry?

I don't know if this has been asked before, and I did do a search first, but I couldn't find what I was looking for.

My daughter has to renew her drivers license. May I carry in the DPS station where we go to renew our driver's licenses? There are some pretty creepy people there, and I would like to know before I go.

Return to “DPS Carry?”
