Well, good on you. What happens if you see a nicer holster for that CCW that you'd like to try out? What if you want to test-tuck another pistol on your CCW candidate list? Both are common occurrences at gun shows, and both would require you to unconceal and remove a loaded weapon. I guess you are referring to folks who disarm for the improperly posted sign.
I should say that if you plan on getting a new holster or magazine or something that you will need to fit to your gun, it should be brought in unloaded and secured. I'll keep mine concealed within the law. I would not draw a loaded firearm in that situation unless I intended to use it.
About planning: I may go to a gun show planning on buying something specific, but it's like Wally World; you go in for Q-tips and leave with $800 worth of stuff you didn't know you needed
