Liberals are basically looters - if they don't have "their guy" in the Oval Office to do their looting for them via "redistribution" they'll do it themselves. AND . . . they'd rather you not have the means to stop them.ajwakeboarder wrote:I think it's ironic that the liberals wanna riot. They also want to take firearms away. Is that so we can't stop their riot?

Re: Am I paranoid?
Hmmm . . . if violent rioters and looters start to spill out of their own areas, might we see an impromptu Texas Appleseed event?

Re: Am I paranoid?
There will be localized unrest in some places . . . I mean, certain types stage a riot/looting event when their sports team wins. But fortunately, the idiots who do this haven't heard old adage about not soiling the place you sleep, so they'll pretty much trash their own 'hood, maybe a few business districts after closing time.Oldgringo wrote:There may be some unrest in MoTown, the Big Apple, the Windy City and a few other yankee places; (did you forget NOLA and LA?) however, I'm pretty sure life will go as always here in the Pineys. Y'all might want to keep your eye on Austin and Travis county?

Peaceful assembly - including peaceful protests - are, and ought to be, Constitutionally protected. But even here in the Austin/Travis County area - arguably the most liberal in Texas - there are plenty of folks who will apply ballistic discouragement to anyone who implements violence against their homes, businesses, or persons. I predict that other than some minor events in the usual places by the usual people, instances of civil unrest will be quite minor.
