exactly my experience ... rather than trade, or buy another gun with the proceeds (which usually ends up in another disaster), I bought a new chronograph, replaced a digital scale, bought a few reloading components, and gave the wife a "Christmas bonus". I think that will probably be my last "plastic fantastic".

I just picked up a Taurus MilPro G2, new with 2 mags for $300. Good little gun for the money.
