I let my NRA membership lapse. I renewed today.

I also have started carrying consistently. My wife had surgery (rotator cuff) in early September and I quit carrying because I had to escort her into her school every day for about 2 months. It was not worth disarming and leaving the pistol in the car 2-3 times every day. I got out of the habit. Now I am back at it. I do hope that the governor and state legislature will move on making legal for CHL holders to carry anywhere. I spend a fair amount of time at hospitals, nursing homes and schools. I'm one of the good guys and shouldn't have to leave my pistol in the car where it is available to the bad guys.
