Ladies and gentlemen, Gray (the OP) has left the buiding... Or he's not posting anymore according to his profile - a shame considering it was due to a misunderstanding.

That said, thank you,I learned a lot from your posts, and hope Santa brings me that backpack - and all this time I thought I was the only one here that wears a pack!

IMHO one more reason one may not want to cuff a person who has been shot is that the cuffing could add to the "health issues" he (the one who just got shot) is suffering from.
Just my 2 cents.
