Can it be assumed then that if you can legally buy a weapon through a licensed dealer that you will automatically qualify, or are there other things that the chl check is looking for? I guess, what is the difference in just a firearms NICS check and the CHL criminal check.

Well online it finally shows processing application for me. How long til I actually get my license? I leave for Iraq on the 25th and I'd like to get my Wally Walk done before I leave!
