Re: Funniest thing I have seen all year
Just in case anyone missed it, FOXNEWS got quite a scoop yesterday: WARNING LANGUAGE https://x.com/CollinRugg/status/1882447631860830430 WARNING LANGUAGE Classic!! Saw that it was a perfect example of why Trump is doing the right thing and symbolizes Joe's friendship with illegals and criminality. ...

Re: Prayers for my brother
My brother posted the following on Facebook a couple of days ago: Fire update, Thank you and blessings to all how reached out. The area is on heavy lockdown. The National Guard was mobilized on January 10th to secure the area to stop looting and give the utility companies time to disconnect services...

Re: Prayers for my brother
Thank you Carl. My mom is chugging along. She’s safe from any fire danger, but she's 100 yrs old now, and she’s got dementia pretty bad and isn’t really there most of the time.

Prayers for my brother
My youngest brother became a victim of the big fire in Altadena, California on this past Wednesday. Fortunately, he lives 25 miles away, but his business property burned to the ground, a total loss. He’s a general contractor. In addition to all structures and contents on the property. he lost 2 vehi...

Re: 1911 Gunsmith in the DFW
I met Andrew McFarlane (ADM Firearms, Southlake) when he worked at Bass Pro a number of years back (back when they had a gunsmithing shop downstairs from the range). He opened his own place around 2015. I have not seen him in years, but when he was at Bass Pro he was knowledgeable, polite and a ple...

Re: Paul Harrell announces cancer diagnosis His early YouTube start
I still keep up with Paul Harrell's channel and they just hit 1.5 million. His brother Roy relayed how Paul got started so I searched the name of his beginnings, DSC and found some of his first videos. This is the one that topped the page of my search. The guy wasn't just good with firearms. https:...

Re: new carry belt.. suggestions?
I've been wearing my Kore Essential Belts for the last year or so. I'm happy with them. I’ll second this…although I more typically use a Wilderness belt for daily use. But I do have a Kore Essentials gun belt and it has worked well for me. I personally find the Wilderness belt to be just a hair mor...

Re: Surging ATFE notifications of FFL burgeries
They send both e-mail and automated phone calls to FFL’s. I’m tired of getting those, I really do not care about thefts in other states. The automated message always states the obvious that any FFL should know - to report stolen guns to the ATF. If any FFL is not aware of that, they need to have th...

Re: I'm back (for a bit)
First, I’m sorry you’re having to deal with the cancer. I wish nothing but the best for you, and pray that you’ll beat it. Isn’t pretty much all .38 Special subsonic unless +P pushing a very light for caliber bullet? Rolling your own is all well and good if that’s what you want to do, but pretty muc...
