The main reason for an extra magazine isn't round count. It's magazine failure. And yes, it can even happen to a Glock.Glock wrote:The wait is over... I finally got my plastic! I just found this forum about a week ago and have been checking out all of the posts and reading as much as I could. My first post is today and I am pretty excited to report my CHL has arrived. (got it in the mail about 10 min ago!
Anyways I am looking forward to my first trip to the fair this weekend with my fiancee (who received her plastic yesterday!)
I will be carrying a Glock 22. She has a 38 special. I have been delaying going to the fair until it arrived since the area is not the best in DFW.. I wanted to thank everyone for being so professional and for sharing the experiences that they have gained and passing it on to us new guys.. I do have one question. Extra Ammo (clips). I am a big guy. 6'5 and I have no problem conceiling a large gun but is an extra mag of ammo really necessary? Gun holds 16 rounds total and I just wanted opinions if extra mags is something I should concider carrying with me! I appreciate any and all information and suggestions.
Thanks - GLOCK!
