Re: If you could have any five guns???
See, that's my approach too. There are guns that I don't already own that I would like to own some day, but all the guns I lusted for, I already own. My list of 5 keepers if I had to get rid of everything else:WildBill wrote:Having only five guns is not fair.
I like to think that I already own them.
If I had to sell everything and keep five it would be:
Colt Detective Special DS-II
Colt Python .357 Mag
High Standard Supermatic Trophy .22LR
Browning Lightning O/U 12 Gauge
Remington 700 in .308Win
- Remington 700 VSF .308 for long range work with authority, and taking all manner of north American game.
- AR15 Carbine for HD/CQB/small game hunting
- Ruger 22/45 4-1/2" Stainless Hunter for plinking/pest control/small game hunting
- 5" Model 29 Classic .44 Magnum for....well....just because everybody needs a big bore kick-butt revolver that will put a hurtin' on nearly everything
- 5" 1911 Springfield because no 5 gun list is complete without a 5" 1911 (considering commonality and availability of parts) and because .45 ACP makes me smile.
