Re: Houston Family Dollar Robbery
In the last 12 months or so, liberal media websites have become shameless about back-editing their stories without making notation to inform the viewer that they've done so. Just a few days ago there was a story on one of the Breitbart websites where they caught a major news publication in just such a cheat, with pre-edit and post-edit screen shots. The Breitbart site demanded that the other publication make a note on the page of their edits, and it was ignored. The other site continued to represent the edited page as original unedited content.philip964 wrote:I should have copied the photo when it was posted. It was really pretty powerful. I didn't realize newspapers later edit their stories. I searched Google for the photo but could not find it.
I wonder why the security footage has not made it to the news yet. Don't worry if it is the CHL's bullet we will see it soon.
America's legacy media are as dishonest and disingenuous as the day is long. They have the ethics of a reptile. I NEVER accept what they publish at face value anymore. They're pretty much all a bunch of unprincipled liars, and when it comes to any article the facts of which would puncture their nice little pre-conceived notions, they'll bury the truth in a heartbeat rather than come to the conclusion that maybe they've been less than wise.

That photo was taken down very quickly as it was interfering with the "sweet hoodie image" that the press was trying to portray at the time.
Yeah locking the doors so you can't leave seems like a draw your weapon signal.
Very sad this female manager was killed.

In all fairness, Family Dollar robbers seem to come in all sizes and colors, not to mention sartorial choices: https://www.google.com/search?sugexp=ch ... 2QWstZ3JCQ
Edited to add: yeah, when the bad guys lock the doors, it is at the very least time to unholster and get ready for the worst.
