Re: What firearm do you want to get next?
I bought a .30 cal suppressor on Tuesday, and I am working on a parts list for a high end SBR.

Re: What firearm do you want to get next?
I saw a KSG for sale for $795.00 just yesterday: http://swfa.com/Kel-Tec-KSG-12-Gauge-Bu ... 65770.aspx. I was surprised because for a long time they were going for nearly double that in some stores. Those are interesting guns, but I'm a little too much of a traditionalist for them to appeal to me.VMI77 wrote:Picked up a KSG on a whim...love it. Now I want a PS90.

I never thought I'd say it, but I'm kind of good to go on pistols and don't have a strong desire for anything I don't already have. There are a few "maybe someday"s but nothing I have to have so badly that I'd run right out and buy one right now, even if I had the money.
I can't afford another one, LOL, but I want one. OR..... howabout combining (1) and (2) and building a SCAR SBR? The possibilities are endless....

Re: What firearm do you want to get next?
I have the .45 XDS, which isn't that hard to shoot, and I think 9mm would be easy; but I've never enjoyed shooting .40 cal regardless of pistol size — finding it to have a combination of the worst recoil characteristics of the other two calibers. I wouldn't mind owning a 9mm XDS, but I definitely wouldn't buy a .40 cal version.mr1337 wrote:I have, but I haven't shot any of them. I think my boss has one in .40 (I'd prefer 9mm) if I can ever get him to come to the range with me.LDB415 wrote:
Have you looked at the S.A. XDS line? Thin, light and good quality.

Good for you! I am looking forward to your range report to see if you had as much fun with yours as I've had with mine.puma guy wrote:Took a trip north to Huntsville to get my next firearm. An M1 Carbine and some accessories. Had a nice meet up with bilgerat57 and made the deal. The problem is I met up with a friend who lives there and after lunch we went to Able's. My salivary glands were working overtime. SIGS, HK's lots and lots of firearms. Too many to list making it hard to decide what I NEED next! Though it's not on my list I handled a NEMO AR in .300 Win Mag. We were helped by a young man named Clayton who was the most helpful salesman I have ever encountered in a gun store. Even found some CCI 22LR at WalMart

AlaskanInTexas, I've been looking at that exact same Marlin model for a while now. Not exactly something you'd want to sling 100 rounds down range in one sitting with, but if you've absolutely got to stop a charging grizzly NOW, it will do fine. I noticed a few times in Alaska State Trooper episodes that if the trooper had to head into the woods in bear country, the AR stayed in the car, and the Guide Gun came along.
