I've had it longer than all but one of my knives. I bought it back around 1980, so it's almost 40 years old now, and still looks in excellent condition, as does the holster. Better yet, I think I paid within a few dollars for it back then of the price that REI is charging for it today, so they remain a very good value.......although around $80 for a knife in 1980 was a lot of money.
The thing is, I tend to think of it as a "knife" and not a "multi-tool". I don't EDC it, but I still occasionally carry it, and I always take it with me whenever I go camping.......which is less and less these days.
