Re: Red Light Cameras in Albuquerque

If the registration is invalid, plates stolen/forged, etc, they are not going to find the goober to ticket him anyway. It would be nice to get that guy off the road. The one that doesn't have to worry about the light because they won't catch him/her anyway. Same thing on toll roads. Stolen/forged p...

It seems to work fine in Texas for motorcycles.

Re: San Antonio Members...

So I drove the kids down to SA to go to SeaWorld and was in a Wally World here when I ran across a lady that had the open carry thing going on. In shorts, a tank top with a compact handgun in a Blackhawk Serpa holster...what's the deal? Did gunbuster signs pop up in her wake? It doesn't happen in t...

Re: No Gun Shows in Houston

No big loss. Gun shows today are a pale shadow of the Astrohall shows I enjoyed as a kid 20 years ago, when the mom & pop FFLs brought some amazing deals to the table. Now, most new guns are available at the same price somwhere else. Sometimes cheaper. Ammunition and accessories are almost alway...

Re: All angles should be considered before allowing guns at

As I walked around the campus I kept thinking about how the environment of the university would change if people were actually allowed to have firearms.

More freedom. More safety.

Other than that, no change.

Re: HB 356 The Utah Connection

Of interest is that the total number of license holders grew by only 100,660 during the same period, so licenses are expiring and not being renewed at a very rapid rate, as well (to the tune of over 21%). Interesting information. Do you think that is because so many other states have now enacted th...

Re: Off-duty HPD officer shoots 2 during fight after leaving

EXACTLY! If I'm not drinking, I should be allowed to carry in a 51% location. There are many reasons to be in a bar and not drinking. As you say, a designated driver. A band member or roadie. Picking up your drunk brother-in-law. A salesman doing business with the establishment. It is ridiculous to...

Does anyone remember the 7th Commandment in the book Animal Farm? :rules: P.S. Isn't this bill constitutional? Sec. 23. RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS. Every citizen shall have the right to keep and bear arms in the lawful defense of himself or the State; but the Legislature shall have power, by law, t...

Re: California Ticket, OUCH!!!!!

Will you ever step foot in California again? ;-) Unfortunately I have to all the time. It's a shame such a beautiful State has been completely ruined. I think he was hinting at not paying it - they won't extradite for a class C (equivalent) local traffic warrant. Texas won't even enter them in TCIC...
