Re: While we wait, whats beside your bed?

Right now the Bersa Thunder 9, amossberg 500 and a 20 lb jackrussel schnauzer mix. I might add the dog didnt bark as some punk was smashing out my truck window and taking off with my car stereo and ashtray full of change. They also managed to booger up the ignition cylinder. You know the day is not ...

Re: Metal Detectors at HSLR?

I would suggest the LEO's go to the LEO office near the bubble on lantern point- it is near the yellowlot. They can probably get you in thru the Grand entry entrance. On a side note, the corral club 'warehouses' inthe stadium are all posted 51%. I found this interesting as i visited all of them last...

Re: About to go pick up a Bersa Thunder .380. What holster..

I have a bersa thunder 9. like everyone says, it is very accurate. UBG holsters makes a very nice leather holster but i kept getting the feeling the pistol was coming out of the holster. it was not coming out of course. i also have a crossbreed supertuck with some retention that is much more comfort...

Re: Questions asked by LEO for a ticket

at the risk of turning this into a fry's thread... they dont check everyone. and when they do they dont check very well. Three years ago i was charged twice for a dvd, i didnt catch it and the 'greeter' didnt catch it. When i called the manager for a refund, he refused- told me his inventory matched...

Re: Half second of terror at Taco Cabana

my XD9 came out of a shoulder holster while shopping for daughters school clothes at baybrook- i caught it with my arm and ducked into a dressing room to resecure it.

I think the larger issue here being taco Cabana is posted 30.06 isnt it?

New Toy on the way

In the next few days I will be the proud owner of a Dan Wesson CBOB. This will be my first 1911. I will need to have either a lefthanded or ambi safety installed. Do you all have a favorite gunsmith? How about south houston gun range for gunsmith work?

Any other words of wisdom?

I also have a friend that lives in the braeswood area that spends almost 30 mins daily. If i go to the office outside of rush hour ...
