My wife had one over July 4th weekend, spent a night in the hospital, all kinds of tests until they were 100% sure that it was a kidney stone, etc...absolutely NO fun for her (or me for that matter - sleeping and hospital just don't seem to work for me, was a loooooong night, at least she had drugs to help).
