I was also very impressed to see that we had both TV and Internet access the moment we got power back after Ike. I know a lot of Comcast customers who didn't.

I like cable modem. I like it even more since we switched to AT&T uVerse. Even with fiber optic DSL, it's not near as fast uploading files as cable modem. Surfing the 'Net seems just as fast, but I upload a good number of files.
