I heard on the news today that these two low-life tied the girls to beds and raped them, before setting the house on fire.

So true. Unfortunately, we sometimes regret things we have said to those we love, but when they are gone, the words left unsaid are just as painful.

This is tragic and sickening. It's bad enough to murder these people, but to let the two girls burn to death speaks volumes about these guys. I wonder if they have the death penalty?

I heard another news report that gave additional details. Apparently, the wife told bank employees what was going on and to call the police. The bank was close to their home, so she and murder number 1 were back there before the police could arrive. The report I heard said they were arriving as the murders were leaving.

Out of respect for these people and the surviving husband and father, I don't want to discuss what his wife might possibly have done differently -- perhaps later in an unrelated thread. I'm sure she did what she thought was best for her family. Let's pray for this man and the rest of the family. I cannot imagine how he will ever recover.
