Re: firearm sale question
i can run simple background checks, im a law student so i have access to a couple databases. it's not an amazing system, but it will detect felonies and whatnot. your not required to look for a reason not to sell him the gun, you just cant sell it to him if you know he cant own it. so if he told yo...

Re: Good red dot for a Rem 870 Express?
I'd suggest that you just continue using the iron sights and instead spend the money on a quality weapon light. But if you insist on a red-dot then I've heard good things about the Primary Arms Gen2 Micro Dot: http://www.primaryarms.com/product.sc?productId=303" onclick="window.open(this....

Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
I've had good luck with Don Hume Ht721OT. I buy them from Gunner's Alley at about $50 delivered to your door. http://www.gunnersalley.com/product/H721OT/Don-Hume-Open-Top-Belt-Holster-H721-OT.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; They are well made and feel good (especially w...

Re: Tucker Gun Leather Customer Service
Most of what I've heard about Tucker has been positive. I've always wondered why so many gun/holster/accessory manufactures only answer one of the questiions when you email them. Maybe it's an unwritten rule among many of those folks that you only can submit one question to be answered and the rest ...

Re: My first story that just happened!
(please excuse slight thread drift) There was an attempted scam on someone at my workplace some time ago that this reminded me of. He owns a F250 and its 1130 at night and two guys start banging on the door saying they are going to repo his truck. Funny thing is he's had the the truck paid off for ...

Re: Got my CHL today and 3 hours later my first incident!
Your CHL, IMHO had little or nothing to do with you protecting your assets on your property (however right or wrong you may have done it). Someone without a CHL still has the right to defend their property and themselves at their residence. Correct?

Re: Finally reloading - now I have questions
Check your leade to see what your maximum cartridge length is in the particular gun your loading it for and try to load your cartridges about 2 or 3 thousandths less. Their is a procedure for measuring by dropping a dowell down the muzzle with just a bullet (not cartridge) in the chamber and marking...

That's a good deal. I just purchased one about a week ago. If I'd known you had it for sale Dr. we could have worked a deal with the Eotech. ![tiphat :tiphat:](./images/smilies/tiphat.gif)

Re: Waiting 120+ days
I think bad prints is just an excuse they use. Last time I re-uped my license I had to send them two sets of prints before they OKed it. It's not like they haven't got them........I've be licensed since Feb. of 1995 and I don't think they've changed. Hang in there!
