Anybody have any thoughts, experiences - with the Sig 220?
I've got one for sale in the classified section actually for a good price

I really like the P220 (I have the P220 Carry Equinox and P220R ST) and keep the carry equinox next to my bed. Never had any problems with either and they both shoot like champs.

I purchased my first Sig back in August a 229 /.40 also. I added a .357sig barrel and a MTAC holster too and I just love this rig. I've since caught a bit of the Sig disease and have lately added a 220, a 239, a 232 and a Sig 556 carbine. I'm constantly in the dog house now!
I absolutely understand your Sig disease, as I have the same affliction. My first was a 226 back in August, then I acquired a GSR, 228, P220 carry, P220, and now the P229. I'm saving up for the 556 possibly . Out of all of the Sigs I own, though, this 229 shoots the best for me. Luckily I am unattached so there is no dog house, only my house

Do you usually carry with the .357sig or with .40?

Way overdue range report on my Sig P229 .40 reverse two tone

So, the paper targets have been sitting in my room waiting to have their pictures taken and included in the range report for a month or so now. Well, here goes.

I bought a P229 .40 in reverse two tone, and I've gotta say this was the best shooting Sig I've experienced. Minimal recoil, great fit for my hands, and bang every time. Here are the results, 10 shot groups for each target:

First picture is 3 yds/9 ft (left) and 7 yds/21 ft (right)

I have never shot such a close group at 3 yards from a gun out of the box. I was pretty impressed. So I moved it out to 7 yards/21 feet, and the results were still pretty good.

I shot at 7 yards/21 feet again (left), and similar results as before. Then I got a little ambitious and moved the target out to 15 yards/45 feet (right):

It was hard to see that far away, but when I brought the target back in, I was really shocked at how well it shot at 15 yards. I guess pictures are worth more than words, but wow I love my P229! Still waiting on my plastic but after the session I immediately ordered a Comp-Tac MTAC holster for it and have been practicing carrying around the house
