Id get the safety looked at by a competant gunsmith. It may just need to be tightened up some. If I didnt already have 3 1911s I would have offered a trade for a CX4 Storm .45auto. It would have been a better trade than an AK.

I dont know anything about the rifle, but it I havent seen an AK yet that I would trade a Kimber for, no matter what kind it is. Not that the AK is a bad rifle, its just that in the end, whoever makes it, its still just an AK. Thats why mine are all Century Romys. They are about the cheapest AKs on the market, and Ill bet they can keep up with any other AK no matter the cost. Just my opinion, but I would keep the Kimber, and get a Romy if your looking for an AK.

What kind of Kimber do you have?
