Completeing Renewal Class Over 6 Months Before Expiration
So I got the wife and I signed up for a renewal class on May 15. I called the Texas CHL office to make sure I could still use my paperwork since I received it a month ago and they recently changed the process. I got the info I needed on that, but I also asked for them to send renewal documents for m...

Re: Anyone Recommend a CHL class in Hill Country?
I believe I looked at Pat's website before we took the class 5 years ago but my wife was in San Antonio so we went there. I had forgotten about it. I will get in touch with him. Thanks for the replies.

Re: Anyone Recommend a CHL class in Hill Country?
Thanks for the replies. Do y'all remember what they charged for their class? I've been looking on the web and it seems to vary quite a bit.

Anyone Recommend a CHL class in Hill Country?
My wife and I will have to renew our CHL this summer and I think we're going to bring a couple with us to get their license. We origionally took the class in San Antonio because my wife was in school there at the time. We are in the hill country now and need a class in the Llano, Fredericksburg, Bur...

Anybody else watch the debate on friday night? Very predictable but interesting. I thought Perry and Grandma came out the worst. Perry said numerous times he thought the schools were fine. He got attacked by everybody which is to be expected for the encumbant, but he did not defend himself well at a...

Let me point out one something. I think everyone agrees that 1) only Perry or Bell will win; and 2) Friedman votes most likely would be going to Perry if he (Friedman) were not in the race. Don't take offense at me pointing that out. Chas. 1. I don't agree with. It should be apparent why. 2. Kinky ...

EricS76 and Mithras61: You guys seem to be very knowledgeable of Chris Bell. So surely, you must have some knowledge of his views on the issues that have been discussed here on this forum the last view weeks: 1. Civil litigation by a victim's family if the self defense act was ruled justifiable. 2....

I do not want pot easier to get for my 10 year old daughter So you would prefer that it continue to be sold on the streets to anyone with the cash than in stores that check ID? It's a lot easier for an underage kid to get weed than beer. Truer words were never spoken. Back on topic. I'm not voting ...

EricS76- What I was trying to say was, the fact that LEO's have their weapons taken from their person is because they are confronting a thug, with the possibility of that thug going to the slammer, something they dont fear in non LEO's. Because we are not confronting them, unless something they do ...

Phddan- I really don't like citeing things because it takes up way too much of my time! Also, I can't cite a case like that because no one knows the criminals reasons for why he does something but himself. We all know that there have been cases where officers have had their guns taken from them and...
