Personal Information: Joey served in the Marines just over 3 years and was near completion of his second tour in Afghanistan. He earned the Air Medal, Navy Unit Commendation, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and NATO ISAF Medal. Joey is survived by his wife Melissa; Parents Tom and Debi Logan; brothers Tommy, who is in the US Navy and Robert Logan and sisters Andrea, who is in the Marines and Trish Nickel. He is also survived by grandparents Carol and Gene Miehlke; grandmother Sylvia Logan; nephews Shane Logan, Austin Logan and Daniel Nickel; niece Rebecca Nickel, as well as several other relatives

Great job Longtooth. Tomorrow (Sunday) will be the S.E. Texas PGR's turn to stand tall and silent as Maj. Hinkley's remains will be flown into Houston Intercontinental. While the cemetery services are not easy, standing a flag line as the charter jet taxi's in and seeing the family receive the remains is really gut wrenching.
