You have to take the course from a Utah certified instructor and send in the paperwork. Mine was Linda Watson in Roanoke, who is certified for both Utah and Texas.thejtrain wrote: What are the requirements for the Utah license? I'm going to start a new thread in the main section about what other states give reciprocity to UT or FL licenses but not TX.
EDIT: nevermind, found a good list here (PDF). Looks like having UT in addition to TX gives you NH, NV, OH, & WA, which don't recognize the TX CHL. Having FL in addition to TX gives you NH, NV, & OH.

That's why I got the Utah license also. Makes me legal to carry in Texas while waiting on the DPS to process my app.
