I'll point out here that Nixon didn't "do the deed" with the burglary at the Watergate Hotel, nor did he have any prior knowledge of it. He did, however, participate in a coverup of the crime.

Even if Obama had no knowledge of forging a birth certificate and inserting it into the official Hawaii records, by displaying said certificate on the White House web site and/or not denouncing it after its release would amount to conspiracy, just as Watergate was a conspiracy.

Am I enamored at the prospect of a President Biden? Absolutely not. I've always felt that Obama selected Biden as his VP to be a life insurance policy of sorts. However, I'm less enamored at having someone in the White House who, either by action or omission, commits or covers up something as serious as the falsification of official government records. We vilify Nixon for covering up a break-in of the Democrat headquarters by his party's operatives; I say covering up forged government documents inserted into official government records is worse.

That doesn't even begin to touch the question of why the birth certificate would need to be forged and inserted into the record books in the first place, if this allegation proves to be true.

If Clinton "I did not have sexual relations" wasn't successfully impeached, BHO won't be either.

Roy, if these allegations are true, it would make Watergate look like child's play. Remember, Nixon resigned rather than be impeached over Watergate.

We'll have to see what the details are and what names are named in this allegation. If true, this would definitely be an impeachable offense and I could see prison time for those involved.

No, different. That is a complaint that the document released by the White House was a forgery.

While it's similar, the story you mentioned merely states the fact that the document itself is forged. The allegation which will be made shortly is that false records were actually inserted into the official record books at the Hawaii Department of Health, which is quite different - and much more serious - than merely producing what appears to be a forged document.

...but I have just received word from a knowledgeable source that a very interesting allegation will break in the next few days on a major internet news service about a certain birth certificate having been allegedly inserted ("stripping in" was the actual term used) into the birth records at the Hawaii Department of Health. My source, whom I believe to be quite reliable and not given to spreading rumors, says names will be revealed.
