I think there is a waiting period on handgun purchases.

Ok, I have decided to get my CHL. I have not done anything yet and was not sure what the complete process was.
Here is what I think is correct, please correct me if I'm wrong.

1st - fill out application @ http://www.texasonline.state.tx.us/NASA ... elcome.jsp

2nd - take class and all that goes with it (prints, photos, etc...) then send that info in

3rd - wait for permit

4th - purchase firearm
