I really like the P220 (I have the P220 Carry Equinox and P220R ST) and keep the carry equinox next to my bed. Never had any problems with either and they both shoot like champs.

You are not kidding.....xrocket wrote:Longhorn, congratulations on your sickness. Buying a Sig really doesn't put you on the road to recovery, it just feeds the sickness. Oh well, a man has to do what a man has to! We're all just a bunch of sick Sig puppies aren't we?
I've made a point of purchasing all my Sigs in Nitron Black, DA/SA, no rails, all standard sights and all with Houge finger groove grips. This way they all have the same manual of arms and I can work back and forth between any and all. But the real reason all four pistols appear to the eye to be the same, is for the confusion factor. My sweet little banker occasionally has me line all my pistols up just so she can determine if I've been a good boy or a bad boy. It's the only way she can do an accounting of the current inventory! My theory is if they all look alike adjustments in inventory can be made with the least amount of ... well, you know.

Re: Way overdue range report on my Sig P229 .40 reverse two tone
I have the Sig sickness.
I first had the pleasure of shooting a Sig 239 9mm when my CHL instructor allowed me to borrow his for qualifying. He told me that he uses a Sig 239 .357 for his carry weapon. I then borrowed the .357 and it shot just as nice as the 9mm. It does have a snap to it, but nothing that can't be handled.
I went to a gun show this past weekend in Austin and I picked up a Sig 239 .40 (I have already ordered a .357 barrel and magazines) - this will be my Carry weapon as well!
I was content (at least I thought I was) and walking out of the Gun Show... when I looked over at another booth and saw a CPO Sig 229 that caught my eye. I was not expecting to see such a good deal on the Sig 229....after several minutes of thinking about it - I left the gunshow. Well, after more thinking about it in the car - I went back in and got the Sig 229 as well.
I have ordered hogue grips for both of them and they should be arriving in the mail at the end of the week.
I am already wishing it were the weekend to go try out my new "toys"!!
