Thanks for the recommendation, I know of dropline but have never installed it. I use GNUCash for my finances which doesn't run on KDE either. I think Slackware 12.1 has most of these dependency issues dealt with and other distros certainly do but after using Slackware for this long I am having a hard time switching to anything else.G.A. Linux here as well, I use an umm.... older version of Slackware (10.2) and FF3 had some GNOME dependencies when I tried to install the last time, FF2 works good enough for now. Maybe someday I will update...
