Ours in Schertz still has the 30.07 with the English/Spanish versions split between the two doors, at the bottom. The 30.05 is at the top of the left door, and is larger. It's also in black letters while everything else is white which makes it more noticeable to me.

Re: Anyone Seen a 3005 Sign?
Yes, saw one today. Correct wording and size. Larger than necessary actually. It's black letters though. 30.07 is white.

Re: Anyone Seen a 3005 Sign?
Some have taken "substantially similar" to include even gun buster sign. See the recently posted [pre-paid legal service] link. I don't have it handy.Grayling813 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 08, 2021 9:07 amMy understanding was that the new laws required a 30.05 sign to prohibit unlicensed carry.K.Mooneyham wrote: ↑Wed Sep 08, 2021 1:51 amYes, I am curious about that, as well. Seems like the law defines what the new sign should have on it, or "substantially similar", right?ScottDLS wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 9:38 pmWhat is a "gun buster" sign and what part of the Texas Penal Code makes it applicable to permitless carry in a location open to the public?
SECTIONA17.Section 30.05, Penal Code, is amended by adding
Subsections (c) and (d-3) and amending Subsections (d) and (f) to
read as follows:
(c)A person may provide notice that firearms are prohibited
on the property by posting a sign at each entrance to the property
that:
(1)includes language that is identical to or
substantially similar to the following: "Pursuant to Section 30.05,
Penal Code (criminal trespass), a person may not enter this
property with a firearm";
(2)includes the language described by Subdivision (1)
in both English and Spanish;
(3)appears in contrasting colors with block letters
at least one inch in height; and
(4)is displayed in a conspicuous manner clearly
visible to the public.
