Under PA law, the sheriff can revoke a concealed carry permit if he believes the individual has shown poor judgment in his/her actions. In the sheriff's opinion, openly carrying at a sports event where young children were present is a sign of poor judgment.Nachos Libres wrote:^^ I was just stating my opinion. I agree the sheriff is ignorant, and don't understand why someone would take away a concealed carry license because they legally open-carried. I don't think the lady did anything wrong I was just stating my opinion that if I was allowed to open-carry I wouldn't do so because of the reasons I mentioned above. Just a personal preference I guess.
But the real question is, can a sheriff's badge be revoked for showing poor judgment?
