Like any other employer they could have a policy stating that employees are not allowed to carry weapons while working. It wouldn't be a criminal offense if it doesn't meet the requirements of 30.06 but it would be justification for firing. Per state of Texas law, are not county employees already permitted to effect a Texas CHL -- other than in state prohibited defined locals [schools, 30.06 sites, court buildings, jails, etc.]?
While it is favorable that the county commissioners court publicly affirms the state laws, have I missed something so obvious that I am asking this question.
