Keith B pretty well sums up the diachotomy of the "almost" compliant 30.06 sign. It's a matter/question of personal choice, owner's intent, conviction/courage and last, but not least; the depth of your pockets.Keith B wrote:Basically it is a personal choice for me. Each sign will be treated differently. If nowhere near the right size or totally off on wording (not the old language like Grapevine Mills Mall), then I will ignore it. If close or the old language, the I may abide by the sign. For Grapevine Mills Mall, I abide by it due to the stance of the city and the fact they may arrest you if caught carrying. I know I can beat the rap, but may not beat the ride.GeekDad wrote:So I have been at Childrens medical center in Dallas this week due to my son not gaining weight. (He is doing better now thankfully)
Day 1 my mind is on my son, but as I am walking in, I know I should look for a 30.06 sign for future sake cause will be making follow up appoints over the next 3 months.
- I never saw a sign, I was looking too. I went through multiple doors and entrances once we got in our room, and never could find one.
Day 2
- I see them now... on most of the Automatic doors on a clear sticker, very small, very hard to notice... its the correct verbiage... I will get a couple of pictures today. But these signs are not compliant with the size requirements nor are they in contrasting colors.
So basically when you get a non-compliant sign, do you guys ignore, or since the verbiage is updated would you follow it or would you treat it like the Grapevine Mills?
