...or mow the yard or something. I can't think of any football game I've ever seen that was over on the first down.jimlongley wrote:So, HD sent a bunch of people home early due to lack of business, and I went home and picked up my honey and we went to the market and did the grocery shopping, got dog and bird food, and snacks for the big game, took a little nap, and have been sitting here wondering why I didn't just stay at work.

Air rifle?03Lightningrocks wrote:You should come squirrel hunting in my front yard. I put out four traps starting two months ago and have caught more than fifteen squirrels. I live in the city of Plano... by the way. Dawg gone tree rats get into the attic for warmth and flat out tear it up. They never quit coming. I am wondering if I am ever going to get rid of them.Carry-a-Kimber wrote:Going squirrel hunting.suthdj wrote:You forgot 1 option. "Not watching the game."

Re: What are you doing Sunday?
As usual, I agree with your position on this matter; however, with commercials bringing in a gazillion $$$ a minute, my watching OR not watching will have minimal impact on the success of the production. In fact, my participation will not be noticed outside my home.....if even there? My nose has been disfigured enough without further cutting on it.03Lightningrocks wrote:https://armedcitizensunited.com/the-nfl-is-anti-gun/
From the above link
"Lets stop pulling punches! Every member of the ACU leadership team sees the same thing. The NFL is again standing against the 2nd amendment (for those of you who need a quick recap please see Mr. Colion Noirs video)!
The NFL actively endorsed the Mayor’s Against Illegal Guns ad (the ads featured the NFL logos which requires NFL permission) and the NFL let Bob Costas rant without any recourse. After these actions over the past couple of seasons we should all recognize the official stance of the NFL to be against the 2nd Amendment and against self-defense."
A few folks had mentioned avoiding movies to show they were against the political stance of individual actors in said movie. I am wondering how many have the same level of commitment when talking about football.
Still not convinced? Here is another interesting link. http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2011/0 ... -anti-gun/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Then, there is that.suthdj wrote:You forgot 1 option. "Not watching the game."
I plan to watch the game but will absolutely not sit through an offensive, racist, display of crass vulgarity such as last year's half time show.
GO PEYTON, GO BRONCOS!
