I just did a transfer through Catarineau's Armory. It went great. I would highly recommend him.
Also with a CHL it was $20

I dont carry on me at home, but I live in a small (very small) apartment so I'm never far from a firearm. Also if someone knocks at the door I always grab one just in case

Stolen guns
So the apartment got broken into yesterday (we believe around 1130am). They made off with 2 laptops, some jewlery, and the two pistols from the night stand. Come to find out 3 apartments in the complex were hit. Its in the summer wood area for those of you familiar with north east Houston. Between t...

Re: Despicable cartoon in the Houston Comical
I will agree with what was said about the CHL crowd being more responsible on the whole. I just graduated from college in August, and I'm not saying my friends and I didn't go out and have drinks from time to time, but every one of my friends that was a CHL holder was always very aware of keeping th...

Question about someone failing to conceal
I was in Colorado last week and as we were leaving the restaurant I held the door for a guy and as he walked by I noticed (in pretty plain view) a 1911 IWB at about 4oclock. As we walked out I asked my brother who lives there if Colorado is an open carry state, he said no (I looked it up and apparen...

The one (gun) that got away
So the whole family got together for a trip this weekend and while sitting around dad was telling a story about his days with HPD. During a story he referenced his .45 After the story I asked him about it since I didn't remember him having one. Turns out he used to have a colt 1911 that he sold to b...

My new addition
Well I have been in the market for a new pistol lately to add to the collection (in all reality when am I not!) and my income tax return gave me a good reason to go through with it. I went ahead and got the .40 xd sub-compact. Took it to the range and loved it. Thanks to all those who have written a...

Winery Question
I think we have covered something similar to this, and if we have I apologize, but here goes My question is specifically about Messina Hof in Bryan, but it could apply other places as well. My first question is does anyone know if it is a 3006 place? I believe last time I was there I noticed a ghost...

Makes me smile
I don't know about yall, but whenever I see a ghostbuster sign on the outside of a business it just makes me smile a little bit on the inside as I walk right past it with a pistol in tow. This especially true when they include words like "This includes CHLs" under the ghostbuster sign :mrg...

Re: Questions about Conceal Carry
I was pulled over by a trooper and had my pistol under my seat. When he asked for ID I gave him both and then he asked where I had the gun, and after I told him that was that and the issue passed. Better to be safe than sorry

Re: Second Day - NO PLASTIC
I think we all played this game. The worst feeling is when you check on a Saturday and it's not there...then you have to wait till Monday. Or in my case you go on vacation one morning (trip was planned way in advance) your CHL shows up that afternoon, and you are gone for 5 days! Good Luck to you, i...

Bersa .380 Range Report
So I picked up a Bersa Thunder .380 Conceal Carry model the other day. I was looking for something small that I could I could carry either as a BUG or when other options were not workable. It has an 8 round magazine so at 8+1 it was able to hold more rounds than I expected based on its size. I was a...
