I had given up on a gun this year already. Here's how it went down.

Wife: "what do you want for Xmas, besides a Glock 26?"

Son: "what do you want for Xmas, besides a Glock 26?"

On my way back home from Midland TX. I go stopped by a Pecos county deputy. I was doing 76 in 65. I was carrying my XD40 on my left hip IWB, when he asked for DL I gave him my DL and my CHL. He looked at both then looked at my CHL. Gave me back my CHL, didn't say a word. I put the CHL back in my wallet and he proceeded to write me up a ticket. He asked for me to get out of the car, thought he was going to pat me down or hand cuff me but it was so that he could explain the ticket and so I could sign it then told me to slow down from now on and have a nice day.
