According to the knife sellers I spoke with, if one has a CHL in Texas, one can carry a double edged auto knife as of Sept 1st. No CHL - no double edged for you. Why we get this perk is unknown to me...?
Benchmade knives are far less costly on the internet than buying from a Texas brick and mortar store dealer, at least as far as I've researched, but auto knives have to be purchased in Texas - No out of state purchases for auto knives according to Federal law. Arrrggghhh.
One of the Benchmade models I'm interested in cost $195.00 at a Houston dealer - Same knife on the internet: $136.00
