I took my CHL course there. Instructor was ok and the experience was not bad. Then I decided to make a gun purchase. I purchased a Beretta CX4 Storm in .40 caliber which they sold me as "new". When I got it home I realized the gun was missing the extra magazine and one of the included utility wrenches needed to adjust the sights, both of which ship with the gun new. The store manager handled my sale directly (bald headed guy).
I called the store the next day and spoke to the manager. I informed him that these two components were missing and he got irate. Asked me who I was to make demands of him and stated that he gave me such a good price on the gun that I should be happy with what did come with it. I said I wasn't making demands but just asking for his help. Finally he said he would "look around" for the parts and took my phone number saying he would call me back. Needless to say, I never heard from him again. I sent several emails to the store ownership asking for assistance and never received a reply. I will never shop thgere again!
Bottom line, I called Beretta and they took care of me. Sent me the wrench and extra mgazine at no cost. They appologized for my experience with the dealer. When I told them who it was they were not very surprised.
I guess what bothered me the most is that they thought nothing about losing a future customer. I am very loyal to retailers who treat me well. From now on I will buy my guns at Bachman Pawn. They are professionals.

Re: Very positive experiences at DFW Gun Range
I recently took my CHL course at DWF Gun Range. The instructor was OK but boaring as hell. Not withstanding, the experience was overall a good one. Not so with the store staff and particularly with Joe the baldheaded "manager". I purchased a Beretta CX4 Storm from him which he said was new. The storm did not come with a second magazine and the sight adjustment tool. I didn't realize these items were missing until I reviewed the manual at home. I called the next day and started the conversation with "I don't know if you remember me. I'm the fellow who purchased the storm yesterday. I'm wondering if you could help me with some items that seem to be missing....". What a nasty so and so he quickly turned into. He basically told me to pound salt, saying that he gave me such a good price on the gun who am I to be demanding anything from him. He said he would "look around the store and let me know if he found anything". Needless to say I never heard back from him. No attempt on his part to help me get the magazine or sight tool, no appologies for the items not being with the gun - no customer service for a guy who just spend a bunch of cash on one of his guns. NOTHING not even a call back.
Alls well that ends well, I called Beretta's home office and they quickly sent me the magazine and tool at no cost. AND, they gave me an appology for how one of thier dealers treated me. Bottom line, I will never shop there again. The people there are like used car salesmen. I'll take my business to bachman pawn from now on.
