Thanks for the link. It adds credibility. If indeed it was a threat, then the Secret Service is doing their job (I thought it was the FBI tracing the guy who yelled, "Kill him" at the Palin rally). This campaign is certainly bringing out the worst in some folks.
The reader comments are very entertaining and emphasize my conclusion in the previous sentence. Lufkin Chamber of Commerce may decide not use that page to promote the city.

Re: Obama's thought police
WorldNet Daily as the source....mmmmkayyy. Secret Service compromising their integrity for a wannabe?
In the 2000 campaign Karl Rove framed John McCain as having fathered a black child and Cindy McCain as a drug addict. Would rumor mongering be beyond either campaign at this late date?
The author invoked Godwin's Law in his first paragraph? (BTW, if the WND correspondent had done minimal research he'd know it was Martin Niemöller he was quoting with, "When they came for me...")
Poorly researched, hyperbole, Secret Service fulfilling the role of the FBI, Godwin's Law... Fact or fiction here Mike?
Understand why I'm skeptical of this story.
