Your application is valid for two year's, that is what the DPS personaly told me, but your finger prints expire after 6 month's so you will only need to get new print's done.

It has been 81 day's for me since the DPS recieved my application. I contacted my state rep today and gave him a detailed description of my application info and the reason for my concern. DPS has been waiting for ONE MONTH now on my background check info and I have been a veritable Boy Scout my whole life.

Date requested PIN number via email: 07-14-'08
Date PIN number recieved from DPS via email: 07-18-'08
Date recieved PIN number in the mail: 07-27-'08
Current status: Processing application 07-27-'08

I spoke with the DPS today and was told I would recieve it soon after they start processing my app. The DPS rep and I both had a good laugh when I mentioned to her that I understand that they are very backed up with app's and they are alway's very kind and understanding at the DPS office which I truelly appreciate.
