He was the spawn of a family of felons. His grandpa was a convicted felon, his mother and her boyfriend were drug addicts/probably dealers. Drugs and cash are usually a combo for drug dealing people. I am sure these details never emerged because he was a hispanic kid and the details would screw up the leftist narrative.

I believe there was a recent report that said the officers at the scene thought all the kids were dead, when they were not. Many only died later at the hospital.
Anybody with a lick of intelligence knows that many of those kids would have lived if they had stormed that room and taken that guy out immediately. The good Lord only knows how many of them layed on the ground all that time and bled out.It angers me to the point of wanting to just spit.

More than 380 armed LEO were on the scene.
I stand by my previous statement. If you weren't among those busting down the door to the classroom. You should not be in law enforcement.

There were concequences for the children. There should be concequences for on-site law enforcement.
My only caveat is that maybe the cops outside had no idea that the cops inside were chewing gum and making sure they had plenty of hand sanitizer. All the cops inside that school should definitely be fired. If cops staging the scene had no idea of the situation inside, it is hard to judge them.

Uvalde Police Chief Retires
Maybe to avoid being fired

Personal thoughts.
Every LEO that was on campus but didn't break in to the classroom and end the issue, should be fired.

Hyde said Arredondo was a "courageous officer" who should be "celebrated for the lives saved, instead of vilified for those they couldn’t reach in time."
That man is a cowardly piece of garbage and I would love to tell him that to his fat ugly face.

EXACTLY!!!! His wife and the other teacher died on the way to the hospital. Now he has to live with knowing he let her bleed out while he stood shaking like a coward in the hall. My gosh! How many of those children could have been saved. It makes my stomach turn. There is NO defense or excuse for the way those cowards performed.

Re: Uvalde School shooting

What I saw was a hallway full of cowards. Any man who would just stand there while children are being slaughtered is not a man. I don't give a damn what or who was in charge. There is no way in hell I would just stand there like a coward while kids are being slaughtered. I might end up dead but I would die as a man, not live as a cowardly unic. Fire every darned one of them. A real man does not have to wait "for orders" in such a situation.

Re: Uvalde School shooting

Anyone remember the old saying about how cops run to the sound of gunfire while everybody else is running away from it. This video provides evidence that the old saying is a fairy tell now days. Cowardice in the line of duty is no excuse when children are being slaughtered. We will likely never know how many of those children bled out while those cops hid safely in the hallway. They signed up for the job. Then proved themselves cowards when it came to doing anything other than bullying citizens who lick their boots.

This was the biggest failure in security and law enforcement I have seen to date, and I have seen many. So many compounding failure points that could have impeded or stopped the shooter, thus saving lives.
I feel we all need to realize that the vast majority of Police Officers don't have the intestinal fortitude we as citizens expect them to have. I am not even a little bit surprised by this video. It is a perfect example of why we can never count on cops to save us in a real emergency situation.
Intestinal fortitude is one thing, but standing around waiting for kids to die would be one thing I could never do.

I was trying not to just come right out and call them cowards. I am not even a cop and could never just hide in the hall like that.

Re: Uvalde School shooting

srothstein wrote: Sun Jul 10, 2022 11:51 am One of the problems that this shows may only be apparent to police officers or people who have been keeping up with officer attitudes. The Uvalde officer reportedly had the shooter in his sights and asked for permission to shoot. This reflects one of the most common problems in law enforcement today - officers are afraid to do their job because they know they will be punished for anything that can be dreamed up as a mistake and castigated in the media. I do not know how bad the Uvalde PD and Uvalde CISD PD were at making sure the officers knew they could do their job but this part of the report makes me think the departments had gotten very political on things.

If you want another example of how this goes down, consider what will happen with the Border Patrol Mounted Unit the next time they encounter a large group of illegal aliens coming into the country and are told to stop it. I would bet they are much less likely to be on the scene in time to do anything.

Most of them probably spent more time at the local Dunkin' Donuts than they did at the range. I seriously doubt that these guys had the psychological wherewithal to go storming into that building like Sgt. Fury and His Howling Commandos.
Very possibly true, but if I were standing there with a room full of children being shot and killed, I would charge into that room if all I had was a rock. My dying breath would be with my hands on that shooter. Those were kids! They were all cowards in my book. I don't care if the "man in charge" did say wait. There are times when being a man require one ignore the risks or consequences and ACT!
Uvalde is not far from Eagle Pass, which is a major entry point for smuggling drugs and illegals. I'm told by law enforcement in the valley that many Mexican cartel members live on this side of the border, and go to work in Mexico. There is lots going on and corruption isn't exactly unheard of.
The Mexican Cartel is nothing to play with. Those guys are known to not only kill you but everyone in your family. I can't imagine how or why they would be involved but it is not something that would surprise me. Like you said, the corruption involving them is real and once they own you, there is no getting out. Unless you are saying that maybe some of these cops had their jobs because the Cartel placed them in the job to help cover up drug importation. A cop like that is not dedicated to anyone. Just self preservation.

Had the police stopped handcuffing & detaining parents who were trying to rescue their children, and went after the BG, how ever they were armed, there may well had been more survivors. 10 regular, armed citizens with Glocks (or similar) will stop one BG with an AR-15 every time. If the cops were going to stand down, then they should have handed their weapons over and allowed citizens to stop the threat.

Obviously though the picture on the left could be photoshopped….

Image
Those don't look like little kids shoes, so I believe it. More acting from Hollyweird
Not to sound morbid but I also questioned how shoes that came off of a child who was shot and layed bleeding in a pile of other bleeding children would be so clean. Not a blood stain on them?
