By the story linked above, the case has already been whitewashed in his favor. About the same thing people expected, even demanded, in the case of Joe Horn of Pasadena. However, technically Horn was statutorily in the right to shoot in the back and kill two burglars in the defense of property. The idiot in the storage shed is a long way from that defense. His actions defy common sense, as does the position taken by the prosecutor, who also appears to be in denial of the facts.
But I will add one more thing...Joe Horn may be technically right, but blasting two guys in the back as they try to run away from a simple breaking and entering makes him a coward and morally bankrupt...IMHO. With that statement...I will get out my flame suit.
. Whether it is a legal shooting or not is beyond the point. IMHO....Only a very sick individual would laugh about shooting another human being....I don't care if he needed shot or not. It isn't something to scoff at. I think the guy in the shed needs psychiatric help more than your brother.
