Prices? :headscratch

BTW---last year I think we all would have thought that was ridiculous, but it seems ok now.
No it doesn't. It seems like gouging by the very industry that we have all tried so hard to support over the years. They are in the drivers seat for now. We will see what happens once the panic stricken run out of room on their credit cards and the supply catches up with the demand.

RECIT wrote:I don't think the discount applies to ammo to be honest. I just had a friend that took a part time job for Wal-mart. He worked the electronics department, they did not offer any discount on ammo, tires, or prescriptions. I tried to get him to buy me a few cases of 9mm, but they would not let him buy it in bulk or discounted. Maybe just the dept manager or something but that was my experience. He was making $8.50 an hour and he has a 5 year military background and is currently is nursing school. So he is not just a snot nosed teenager with no qualifications or leadership skills.
With an insider on your team, you should be on top of any arriving shipments. That would be good enough for me. Even at full price the WWB at wally world is the lowest price for it anywhere I have found. UUURRRRGGGHHHH....I wish I had bought more on the occasions I happened into wally world when they were in stock :banghead: .

What is that in 9mm?
According to the prices that RECIT quoted, it'll get you 17 rounds. Three hours and you'll have a box!
It might be worth it to work there just long enough to buy up all the ammo before it get's bought up by the customers. I figure I would only have to work there about a week to stock up enough ammo for the next 5 years.

Re: AMMO FOUND!!!

Do any of you folks know any real numbers about wally world pay scales, or are you just speculating based on what you think they should get paid?

My now ex-wife worked for wally world 15 years ago and made 8.50 an hour to start. She was no manager either. I think they make more than some of you realize.
