That risk exists no matter where you enter a place you are forbidden to carry. You know the place is a problem on occasion. If you are that worried about someone getting into your vehicle, don't take the weapon with you. Or... stand your ground and fight the good fight.RoyGBiv wrote:^^^ Stated differently....
Missing that concert you payed 250 bucks a ticket to see ... or risking a round trip from the parking lot unarmed and the possible theft of my gun locked in the car.
Really looking for a suggestion on what to say and to whom if I'm stopped at the gate....
We managed to overcome the State Fair objections. We have our own express lane in the State Capitol Building. The AAC needs fixing.
What do you do at any other place you are forbidden to carry? There is NOTHING you can say to them to change their minds if they don't want their minds changed for them. You can however, take a stand and sacrifice an evenings fun to make a statement. Maybe you can get them to change the way they do things. It is not posted so it may be a mute point at the circus. For all we know you would only need to show your CHL and walk on in. The CHL badge might come in handy for situations like this.

Maybe you can "fix" the AAC. Good luck with that. Personally, I don't have the time to fix every situation I cannot carry. Wish I did. Good Luck to you. Maybe you can start a ground swell of support.
