I own 13 toll tags. Sometimes the toll readers don't read properly. Before they started the program of mailing the toll bill they would charge a fine of 25 bucks per violation. I never had to pay them as I only needed to call them and once they saw we had tags they would wave the fines. I remember seeing an older lady on the news a few years ago. Her husband was some big time Doctor at a major hospital. They were loaded but she had run up like 30 grand in tolls and fines. She told the news person she did not realize she was suppose to pay a toll...LOL. That was back in the days with no toll tags and you had to stop or an alarm with lights and bells would go off as you drove through.
