I hate to Abraham a previous post but wanted to zero in on something you posted that I absolutely agree with. Why not put out a video making an issue of how ridiculous some of these "studies" are?VoiceofReason wrote:......Abraham snip.......
My point in my prior post is that if the NRA or another organization/person doesn’t start making short videos for television pointing out how ridiculous the anti gunners are, we could very easily lose this war.

Re: Children and guns
Yeah, it is pretty darned absurd. I have no stats to back it up but I would be willing to bet most accidents where kids get ahold of a gun start out with the child finding the gun while rummaging around in places they should not be in the first place. Like mom and dad's bedroom. I am a huge advocate of keeping guns locked up from children. But it seems like most of the stories I read of kids shooting other kids while playing with guns found the gun stashed under a bed, in a drawer by the bed or even up on a closet shelf. I don't recall reading about a parent hiding their gun in the kids bedroom or leaving the gun just laying on the coffee table. Maybe it has happened... I just don't think it is the norm. The Annoyed Man wrote:...........as if people store their guns mixed in with their kids' toys.......VoiceofReason wrote:Diane Sawyer did a propaganda piece where "real" unloaded guns were left mixed in with toys. http://newsbusters.org/blogs/scott-whit ... er-firearm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It was just another attempt to demonize guns. The only thing I took away from this was that none of the parents have ever talked with the kids about firearms.
